Chiller query

I'm eyeballing this as an option for a chiller. Round here my permissions have roe, muntjac and some fallow if you're lucky. I have access to a bigger chiller if needed but this one would be at home. Can anyone advise if they see any obvious issues with me using this? Will likely make a frame to take a central bar supported by a bracket slotted into the shelf slots. I'd probably use one of Tim's aitch bone hooks if I need a fallow in there. Volume looks relatively comparable to Landig 9000 but floor and top are not flat.

@WW. As I’ve previously posted on here, Nisbetts do clearance offfers on Polar fridges. Last time I was in their Avonmouth store prices on new unused Polar chillers in the clearance section were excellent. They come with warranty so no issues there. Online, this is currently what’s showing but there were 10-20 in store last time I was there - all new.

What I would say is that there’s not as much headroom in the Polar fridges as there are in others. I picked up a used Gram that’s very good. It’s also a quarter of the running cost of my double door ex-DEFRA chiller.

Have a word with local refrigeration firms, I picked up an upright Foster stainless steel chiller and a 2m x 2m monoblock cold room for £800! Find ones that work with the larger stores, Aldi, Morrisons etc. They change their units after 3 years or when warranty expires from new, there are some bargains to be had. Just a thought.👍

Can't help you with what chiller to buy but the top of that rail with the hanger on is 1.66m to the floor.
No "S Hooks were harmed in this picture lol"
