Sounds like the 338 might be a contender then looks great tooI used the first generation of F&D mods on a 300 Norma and 6CR. Still using both but the 338 is far superior.

The others were a stalon w110 (I also own one of them) a dpt, a wildcat and an old t8. The Freyr was dramatically quieter and also much less recoil. To the point where I questioned the ammo used in the test. Thanks for that what other mods did you rest against the f&d 338?
If you wasn't so far away I'd ask if I could come hear it in person ha
The good old t8 if it was less recoil and sound reduction than that it is doing wellThe others were a stalon w110 (I also own one of them) a dpt, a wildcat and an old t8. The Freyr was dramatically quieter and also much less recoil. To the point where I questioned the ammo used in the test.
Iam near Newbury and you would be welcome if nearby![]()

Yes I'm not far from Newbury if I can that would be great if you still have the 338 too still
Yeah, Svemko are great, but not cheap...II've had a lot of mods pass through my hands.Seen them evolve over the years from the first long empty chamber variant to the multi baffle all singing all dancing titanium offerings
I've had a F&D (cant remember the model ) but the one recommended for a win mag at the time which worked really well.Moved to Svemco about 12 months ago and I have two say they're the best yet both with build quailty and performance but with a price tag to match. The QR system does enable a one mod for multiple calibres however.I use a 30 cal mod on a win mag.6.5 and 243 which makes it more cost effective
No affiliation to any but my top three would be
Svemco Magnum
Jet Z Ulra
DPT six baffle
Hope that helps

We have QD's on 17mm Blaser barrels Fits fine. What is the diameter of Svemko QR adapter. What diameter barrel would it match? I tryed asking Svemko customer service but never received a reply. My barrel is Blaser R8 standard 17 mm. Would the diameter of the adapter and barrel match?
