Does it make any difference how fast you cycle a round ?
Without getting mine out I believe mine works better when I cycle the round slowly

Frustrating for you, this journey must be.
Just proceed slowly and think a lot before you get the tools out. Try to think logically about the mechanism and what is happening. Everything has a solution.
My Tikka is in an MDT Field stock. I purchased a 2nd hand Ai 10-shot poly mag from some kind chap who answered my wanted ad, and with a little guidance from the guy who sold me the stock, I had it working a dream in a couple of hours. Fast or slow, it cycles great no matter how many rounds.

im trying my hardest to be patient,
i will keep plodding on,still waiting to hear back from MDT, they did say it shouldnt be like what it is, and it may be a factory problem, with it being new they hold there selves to a higher standard,
i recon they will exchange it

What stock/bottom metal are you using? It looks like that could be the issue, not the mags.

Anyway. I THINK I may of sorted it out. Had ago at the spring. Not much better. Had ago at feed lips. Bottom in. Top out. No better. Then thought about it again looking at the problem and decided that the spring could do with being stretched towards the back. So did that and out of 10 rounds it fed all but the last one.
So stretched it some more and it fed 20 on the trot. I’m not count my chickens just yet through.
And still. I should t need to be doing so my F king about with a new msg designed for the 223 only.
