AICS mag problem

Feed lips too wide at the chamber end. I'd try a different brand, the polymer looks like its weakened/softened, splaying the feed lips.

Metal would be better.

i think steel is the way forward dont you just love rifle mags uk, never f all in stock, that you want,

These are loaded with 1, 2 and 5 rounds. Your second photo looks to me like the round will jump out of the mag before the bullet enters the chamber, hence mis-feeds.View attachment 473158View attachment 473159View attachment 473160

Plastic AICS mags work fine. I've put thousands of rounds through them. Yours looks like it's been hammered, so it's now fubarred.

You've had the option to try but we've just demonstrated the point that a picture paints a thousand words. You might be best with a metal one and keep it away from your tools.

fubarred indeed, i do go at problems heavy handed, felt i had to to make it fit,
metal it is then, if i can find one, some things are never easy to find, been looking for half hour now, fed up already

well, its now had the blow torch on it, and mole grips, nothing to lose really

Try magpul ones. I have 2 (5 and 10 end) and both feed fine using both 243 and 308 into a rem700 and a Winchester 70 coyote.

well 1 attempts to heat it with boiling water, 2 with a blow torch i use for annealing brass, and it still hasn't stayed where it should, so got the lips dripping, (no jokes please)
and folded them over a tad, ill give it ago later
