Thanks, it's one of these but bigger. That's an impressive piece of construction SmellyDo you know what the attachment is to be used for, raking out tree roots maybe? I've worked with all sorts of attachments in my 25 years as a digger driver, never come across one like that.
Edit, just spotted the YT video.
Ahh, never worked in forestryThanks, it's one of these but bigger.

Interesting indeed...when they become widespread I think that will be the end of our beekeping....wasps are bad enough at times let alone asian hornets.Went on a course to learn how to treat the asian/yellow legged hornet.
Very interesting.
They could be building nests now. Workers were found from last year not far from land i shoot deer on.
Still cant be treated by any one but the gov but that might change
They dont sound good.Interesting indeed...when they become widespread I think that will be the end of our beekeping....wasps are bad enough at times let alone asian hornets.
I've seen a few programs about them and as you said the prospect of widespread UK distribution is not something which will be a nice thought. Unfortunately its only a matter of time as people are finding overwintered queens etc...They dont sound good.
Last ysar 163 colonies were treated, when it hits 200 the rules will change is the gist i got.
I was suprised how much smaller than our hornets they are.
More worringly there is invasive hornet in spain spreading fast that has very similar behaviour. This one is the oriental hornet.
Could arrive here soon
I take my hat off to anyone who does customer face to face job. I'd last 2 minutes. Beauty of my job, I can say feck off as much as I like to the sheep!Well, yesterday, and the day before, did customer service all day, not my usual job, but standing in, and man oh man, forgot how much I hated people!
