New chiller needed - advice please

My faithful chiller (which used to belong to the late, great and much missed Alan Evans @Allantoo) has finally packed up.

I need to find another. I've been looking online at commercial fridges and drinks chillers until my eyes bleed. I've got a budget of £500. Ideally I would like to find something which is flat at the bottom (rather than with the salad draw "step") and obviously the more internal height the better - I would like to get around 1650mm.

Any and all recommendations would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Jason

At the moment this looks like my best bet:

... I'm going to contact the company and see what the internal dimensions are as these aren't given.
1.815 less 300 will be my guess so roe muntjac fine also 30k ish fallow hung from the aitch bone, but it will be a bit tight.
Good luck.

Posted on her before Jason but worth a look at Nisbetts clearance at Avonmouth. Was in there last Friday and saw these. The stock changes quite rapidly but most are brand new just dented and all usually come with warranty.

Sadly, they wouldn’t sell this one to me at the price stuck on it but I did “try it on” 🫢

A back counter drinks fridge will be very tight for fallow Jason. The ex-DEFRA one I’m running is about 4” shallower than my old Coke fridge and using Tim’s hangers, it’s difficult to get the rear legs in. Lots of wrestling needed to get a big one in (75 kg) but I can get 2 prickets (~45 kg) in at the same time easily. Perfect for roe and muntjac, but I think we will see increasing numbers of fallow 🙇

Another point is watch the energy ratings. I also have a Gram Fridge off SD that's a quarter of the power consumption that my ex-DEFRA back counter cabinet consumes and that was half the Coke fridge power consumption!
