Best night vision clip-on 2026

I’m interested in opinions on /recommendations for night vision add-ons.

I’ve been using an old PARD NV007 for a few years, turning my stalking rifle into a passable option for foxing. It’s okay but very reliant on good conditions and field of view isn’t great.

I just want to use the one rifle, so a thermal scope isn’t an option. And I’m not massively keen on the bulk of a day/night scope like the Alpex - I also prefer decent glass for deer.

Is anyone using a NV clip-on that they are very happy with? Thanks

There’s a thread on here about the nv007sp2 4k which has overall positive feedback. Been looking into them myself as in the exact same position as you wanting a decent add on for glass.

That’s what I’ve been erring towards since posting this thread earlier, Ben. Not silly money and general consensus is it’s a noticeable upgrade from the older 007A that I have

The 007 sp2 4k is a super add on. I use mine with a ward dark engine on an Element Helix 2-16x50 and can see to shoot rabbits out to 300 yds. Shot foxes out to the same. Image at that range is good enough but not as good as an Alpex 4k. I use it on the .243 to continue into the night after foxes. But purely for a foxing rig, it’s my .223 with an Alpex 4k.

If you were to use it with built in IR what do you think of image distance wise and clarity? Happily shoot 200? Also do you have the 850 or 940 pill? Thanks.
