So you have two different types of bases a fixed and an adjustable. On barrel one you use the fixed and zero the scope to suit. On barrel two you put the adjustable and you zero the mount using a couple of grub screws. It does work and allows you to use one scope on two completely different calibres. Slightly fiddly but perfectly functional.

It’s prob worth saying the top half of the mount with the rings stays on the scope.

Saves buying two expensive scopes means you can spend even more on one scope
