Grant Scheme for Infrastructure Round 3 is now OPEN. go to New (third) round of funding for low ground venison supply chain to get briefed and involved.

Better still, get your shopping list ready and bring it to the AGM where you can talk it through with the administration team.

This scheme is a great boost to every low ground deer manager and is a turning point for us. We are slowly being recognised (To slow) for our contribution to the deer sector regards lowering the deer population to enhance our environment. Many of us are working with substandard equipment because the cost of pro or semi pro stuff is out of our league and for a few deer a year cant be justified. 50% off the cost of processing deer is a great start. Remember there are lots of suppliers out there doing good deer for every thing you might need. Chillers /Fridge Label printers , Vac Pack Machines Mincers Sausage stuffers, Quality Knifes the list is near endless and its your choice of supplier or equipment. Sadly this is only for Scottish low ground deer stalkers.

I thought the scheme tied you to certain companies and the high costing Landig units? Plenty chillers out there that do just as good a job at a less than half the cost of what you would pay under this scheme for those Landig units.

Nope, you apply for whatever brand/item you want.
