Uk Health and Security Agency at Stalking show

Interestingly there was a Lyme Disease feature on Radio 4's PM news program only last week that frankly left me speechless due to the disinterest and complacency exhibited by the medical professional interviewed.

You'd be forgiven for wondering why the BBC bothered to run with this important but still much neglected condition, such was the message of low risk and indifferent guidance around what to look for if bitten etc.

Must have been a very slow news day indeed!

Can any one PM me any contact details , as I was on an isolation ward a few years back with a real bad fever , after several days on an isolation ward they discovered a bulls eye rash about 10 inch round on my side of ribs , it was never treated as they said it was to late ,they put it down to tick born fever , but each year I get unbelievably tired with severe aching joints , so I'd like to see if it's connected, maybe a blood test would confirm or not ??

GP can and should be able to do this for you.

I know I had what I thought were symptoms last year, and my GP arranged for a blood test to check for lymes.
