It's dead on at 100m also at 175m but the BC is desperate and it starts to slow and fall beyond that but 175 m aim on is ok for most UK stalking would you not agree?

Speed kills that is why the Welsh assembly government has slapped us with a 20 mph Speed limit but seriously if your shot placement is spot on I would agree but Copper monolithic do need velocity to petal open on chest shots

But yes, a zero of 200yds or so would suit me fine, I think. Then hold-over a bit (3"?) for 250yds and 9 inches or so for 300yds?
It's dead on at 100m and 175m so I presume it rises in the middle. I will check on the 100 to 175 m trajectory tomorrow and get back to you. It's a Tikka super light with a Z8i 56 x 18

I'll be trying some CX 120 grns out in my 6.5x57 soon enough, but I'll as an outset look to move the shot placement a bit fwds vs the classic meat saver shot.
One on my Hunting companions said that he shot the CX fast (for the cartridge) out of 6.5x55 on a roe, behind the leg/lung shot I think it was, and found it to be overly destructive. But I don't know the TV, and if he was close enough, I guess it might mainly have been that causing the damage.
Only one way to Find out.
This guy has done some testing with the CX at different IVs.

My experience with the Hornady CX is limited to failed attempts to develop an accurate load for my 6XC which didn’t like them and my 7mm PRC which shot them well enough but performance on African game was a bit disappointing. Recovered bullets show that expansion was not as consistent as Barnes.
I wouldn’t have expected to be recovering bullets on medium sized plains game shot at under 200m with a 7mm PRC at 3100 fps with monolithic ammo.
I’m not hating on Hornady, I’ve used their other bullets extensively with great results. I just won’t be using the CX any more for hunting. The owner of the estate I was hunting on in Africa was of the view that the CX is not materially different to the GMX and his bullet of choice is 180gr Barnes TTSX in 300wm.

This is also the opinion of the video who made the video posted just above, wether that is accurate i do not know. He interestingly also has a video comparing expansion at different impact velocities for different non leads, and there i believe the gmx does quite well....so there you go.
Tbh i think if one reads through different bullet review threads, on here,or elsewhere, one will read opinions going both to west and to east. Personally i shall try them out in the field, moving the shot a bit fwds from the typical lung heart shot. If they do not work well, i guess i will have quite fancy gun range ammo on my hands instead.

That may be true but in years past they put the partition bullets in quantity's of 50 per box and charged the same price as the others that sold in 100 count boxes.

I like the Hornady ELD-Match 140gr in 6.5mm Creedmoor for my target rifle. They are not cheap, but they are very consistent. 2790fps, SD 7.6, ES 22.3 with 43.4gr of RS62
That said, I haven't quite finished my load development with them yet. Once that's done I will be comparing them with Lapua Scenar L bullets.

Look at the Berger 130 vld t at £95+ if you can find them
