Hanwag boots

I’ve got Hanwag Tatra 2 boots and looking to replace as they’re a little small now. Anyone use Tatra 2 boots and or Tatra top boots? I’m looking to get into stalking but currently do a lot of distance hiking so wondered if anyone here does the same as well as owns/has owned both boots and can advise if the Tatra tops are good.

Also general question, I do a fair bit of long multi day treks across moorland such as Dartmoor. Other than wading height, what do people like about such tall boots as they all seem quite popular

I'm on my second pair of Tatra's, the first one lasted 5 years until the sole gave up. Never got wet or damp in it.

I got mine resoled at Lancashire shoe repairs. About half the cost of new boots. But worth it as they did an excellent job.

I too got 5 years out of my first pair. Tremendous boot

I use Hanwag Trapper , unbelievable boots, I’ve had Lowa, Meindl, Altberg, nothing comes close.

I'm happy with my Hanwags, comfy, good service life and properly waterproof.
I can't remember which model mine are but would certainly buy again, walking, stalking etc.
