Cla

Driving up from the south coast and already have hotel etc booked so will be pretty fecked off if it's cancelled - What the hell am I gonna do in nottingham for 3 days if it's off! :S

Just spoken to member of the caravan site staff. The chances are 50/50 at the moment. The ground is wet but not too bad.The problem is the heavy machines working on the site, digging up the place with the tyres. But a final decision will not be made before Thursday. So fingers crossed,I have everything booked (Tickets,Motorhome,Ferry).I would be right p*****d of if it is cancelled.

Coming down from Aberdeenshire and tickets already bought - fingers crossed particularly as Perth day 2 and 3 were cancelled as well.
Hopefully they will make contingency plans otherwise it will be a miserable year for the traders and visitors alike....

I've booked tickets and four nights on the campsite. I am now trying to pursuade my mate to lend me his 4x4 !!!

I'm hoping that if it does go ahead it won't be too bad when we get on the pitch.

The Great Yorkshire was cancelled with very short notice , Would the CLA get the same treatment ?

We are due to leave on fri morning so i guess a quick check on there web site on thurs night should give us the answer ???

GYS went ahead with the first day. That would be a problem if they did the same with the CLA.

The CLA have closed of the entrance for the exhibitors today due to the conditions and are 'hoping for the best' which doesn't bode well. The blog on the CLA Game Fair website makes interesting reading. I am reluctantly thinking about changing my plans to attend.

If it does go ahead its likely to be a mud bath, foecast is still not good for the rest of the month. I won't be going cannot justify the ticket price and fuel, will however try to get to the MGF.

D

Well.. I've already bought tickets for the family but we will not be going. Wife is in a mobility scooter and even if it goes ahead I cannot see that being much fun for her as it will be a mud bath! If I wanted to experience that kind of event I'd go to Glastonbury!
