Which moderator?

Agree 100% with dm80!

Over the years, we have sold hundreds of his mods with no trouble whatsoever. I have one on my Sauer and it has been perfect for the last 5 years. Best made and best value mod on the market.

I have a DM80 on my Lilja barrelled .17, I have had no problems. Its had over 600 rounds through it.

For me there is only two choices for the HMR, Lei if you want the best, Sac if money is an issue, and if the very slight
rise in perceived sound is also not an issue.
If I had to rate them out of 10
L.E.I. 10/10
Sac 9/10

DM80, and Dave who makes them will custom make it at no extra cost to suit your rifle,

Forgot to mention will also make them calibre specific.

got 2 of daves mods here and a load of mate do too.

cracking bits of kit and at prices even i can afford,

bob.

Not a P&H, mine came with one as part of a package and and the .17 manged to blow the baffles apart.
The gunshop gave me a SAK as a replacment and it is spot on.

MAE Mini-T (The T-12 but a rimfire version!)

Got mine from JMS Arms - quite a lot for a mod but it will last you a lifetime! It's also the quietest on the market IMHO. About £230

The DM80 is the best in that price range (£130ish)

SAK's are only slightly louder at £35 - you'll struggle to hear the difference between the SAK and DM80, and DM80 and Mini-T... but you'll notice the difference between the Mini-T and SAK

I finally bought the same just over a year ago, have used it on. .22lr, .17HMR, .22WMR, .22 Hornet, .222 and .223 so far.
It really is a lot of moderator for the money, certainly the quietest I have ever used on the rimfires and the Hornet, more than acceptable on the .22 CF's as well.
I may even try it on the .243 as a temp measure, the hole down the middle is 7mm so is big enough if thread on the rifle is true, the mod is made from the same
materials as the bigger ones, it's just smaller and lighter.

Hi guys

go for the dm80 moderator they're well worth the wait I have met Dave a few times you won't find a more helpful guy when it comes to making moderators and cutting and threading barrels I've got two of his dm80 one for my centerfire for two calibres he made me the reducing bushes to fit both barrels and my rimmy mod again fits both my rimfires using two bushes
