hi all iv got my hands on a nice styer model l in .22-250 and im going to start and reload some ammo im useing a 55gr pill sierra gameking for roe any advice on powder choice primer case would be appreciated.

as to brass that will depend how how much work you want to do to the case,just buy Norma but if you want the very best I think Lapua now do 22.250 cases
 
Buy yourself a 100 rounds of Norma factory ammo, shoot them up and save the cases, you are sorted, this is a more cost effective solution than buying new unloaded brass.

For Primers Rem 9.5's, I like Benchmark for powder.
 
I personally prefer H380 in the 22-250 using 55gr bullets works really well, it is a powder that was designed for this cartridge.

Start at 38.5 and work your way up toward 41. there'll be a couple of accuravy nodes in there.

If you don't want to buy Norma, the Sako ammo is very good value and the brass excellent.
 
thanks yeah i was thinking of getting some H380iv got some N140 left over from my 223 days think ill try that first see how i get on
