Tripod sticks

cant see them being any good for starters they are twist lock so they stick after a while and become jammed , just go out and buy some fox bank sticks they will be the best sticks you will buy and are cheap but the difference being is they are cam lock so a quick flick and they go from small to full extent . dont jamm and are extremly strong for longer shots if needed , atb wayne
ps dont know how they dream up the prices but if people are daft enough to spend those costs
or stick with your originals

i have the bipod version of this sticks and there bloody ace , at the pull of a trigger you can adjust the legs in seconds for length which is great on uneven ground etc and the head turns 360 which is great for following moving game in the scope

yes they are deer but good things dont come cheap

Hi mereside,
Just had a quick "google" and the tallest I can find is the Fox Storm Pole at 48".
Are there any taller ones about under a different name?
cheers, Tedward.

Belay my last, just noticed this bit:
"All models extendible to approximately 175% of their original length."
sorry, must read slower!
Tedward

tedward yes they extend high if you are over 5ft 8 the 48's are the ones you need you then can cut the inners down if needed, the outers can also be cut at the top and re fit the cam to suit your size , atb wayne

I can't comment personally on these as I don't own them but 2 guys in my syndicate have given up with theirs, over time all sorts of faults have developed, legs seizing when extended or collapsing without any warning, trigger slide mechanisms not working, and I did notice they were quite heavy and clunky compared to others.

To be fair bushwear were good at replacing them but other faults soon developed and both lads don't have any confidence in them anymore.

one thing ive learnt is sticks really are a personnal thing youll proberly by more sets then you will change your rifle untill you find the set you like ive brought some of the best all singing all danceing but went back to a fairly basic vanguard one ,simple and sturdy i think they were about £100 not much to go wrong like the trigger types
