Can anyone recomend me a good pair of insoles to go in my scarpa mountain boots ?
Looking for something with a bit of bounce .

moulded personal ones like superfeet, even without the sponginess of sorborthane they are very comfortable and supportive

Get down to a decent outdoor shop and get them to fit you Superfeet.

Many years ago, due to my spinal injuries, I found that I was suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. Those that have had this will know that it really is like walking barefoot on broken glass, truly excrutiating! While considering having a pair of boots made for me I spoke to the head bootmaker at Altberg. Now Altberg make all the boots for the people in the British Army who have foot problems. He recommended that I try Superfeet insoles, because at that time Altberg fitted them to all the boots made for people with foot problems. Altberg now make, or have made, a similar model themselves.

All I can tell you is that all my boots, wellies and shoes now have Superfeet insoles and I do not suffer from any foot pain what so ever, they are worth every penny. Designed by Doctors and far better than the almost useless flat Sorbothane that people try to palm you off with. Superfeet inserts are shaped to use the natural adipose tissue found under your feet, they really work. Buy Superfeet inserts!

+1 for superfeet. Even the non customs (green or orange) are superb. They will need to measure you for correct width though so don't just grab them off the shelf.

I have a pair of Sorbothane Double Strike in my Mindel boots, but all my other boots, including daily wear shoes have Superfeet in them. Superfeet offer far better support and comfort over a prolonged period that anything else I have tried.
