Tikka T3 Super Varmint?

My intended use is just about the same as yours Jay, bit of stalking and quite a lot of long range foxing. I also plan to use it for longer range targets so weight/stability is somewhat essential. Who knows, in time I may get a lightweight dedicated stalking rifle.

In that case I can thoroughly recommend the SV. It makes a great rifle for foxing off a bipod.

With the risk of opening the usual can of worms dare I ask what calibre are you thinking of?

Going for .243 mate. Seems like the best balance of cost and performance as my local RFD doesnt stock much in the way of .25-06 or 6.5x55 ammo. Didn't want to run into problems getting it conditioned for fox either.
