The exit on a small Muntjac doe shot at about 200 yards.
As you can see the expansion even at this range was good.
at the 2800 fps muzzle level this sort of performance was obtained close up as well.

Certainly not something I would want to make a habit of Eddy!

But a combination of familiarity with the rifle, a secondary zero of 200 yards and a perfect rest made it very possible on that occasion.

Ask me about the 300 yard pineapple someday!

I reckon a couple of shots of Jaeger Meister and you could shoot the balls off a Squirrel at two thousand paces and when it was running too

How I was up again the next morning after you, Steffan and Uli had finished I will never know......

I'm not sure about the nut's off a squirrel at two thousand but a muntjac at two hundred off a rest is very do-able. Our mutual medical friend was in fact there on this occasion to witness it.
