.25-06 Federal vs Hornady..?

Hi all, I am having Problems getting more Federal 100Gr Vital-shok which I what I have used since buying the .25-06 .. but I can get Hornady 117Gr SST. just wonder if anyone has used both ?? mainly shooting Roe - Fallow.

To be honest matey you may just have to use what you can get. 25.06 is becoming very hard to get.

Is it ********. No problems getting 25-06, and the Hornady 117gr are excellent. Used on everything from muntjac to sika and red stags at close range and 300+.

I'm pleased for you ? But that is not my experience.

Simple answer would be to reload it yourself.

I've been using 25-06 for 13 years. Never had a problem with components.

+1 on that too.. or get a nearby loading friend to do it (reloading) with you. Eeezy peasy.
