Clean all of the old glue off then put a rap of electric tap around the top of the leg and push the ferrule back on. You can then remove the ferrule if future maintenance of the leg is required.
Norma 75 grn v max work for me. Didn't get on with Hornady 75 grn sst had more runners than any other round. Both rounds very accurate ragged hole groups.

I think what he was getting at was you really have to take your time using thermal too pick out charlie in a field full of pigs they really do glow bright. But using the spotter with IR you can pick them up very quickly as pigs give off hardly any eye shine and charlie stands out like a sore...
The bifost stock had a problem with the Tikka T3 model. The molded stop for the bolt release pin was missing causing the pin to fall out into the stock. Don't know if this has been addressed on the later ones.
