They have actually hit in through the shoulder and stopped in the neck, it was the bone the stopped them. they don't seem to deform like lead.

the 303 is fed trophy copper and the 270 is Sako powerhead 2 with the ttsx bullet

yes, the 270 is doing 3100fps and the 308 is 2650fps

Pic above is on reds over 100 yard shot, 308 and 270 cal they seem to work better the faster they go but they do kill as good as lead

I've used Sako PP2 168grain through a 308, going by the post on here they would be to heavy and to slow(2560fps) but they killed roe out to 200yards every bit as good as lead (SST) SO dont believe everything you read try them yourself!!
