All very good suggestions and advice, the only thing I’d add is don’t go for a 1:12 go for a 1:8 because if you have to shoot copper in the future it’ll take the bullet stability issues out of the equation for the heavier bullets.

Yeah, it’s a standardised reamer that takes any access metal out of the primer pockets so that the primers seat properly and don’t protrude out from the cases. It’s more for a function and safety aspect than performance.
I’m reloading .270 currently using norma brass but it’s taking a lot of primer pocket uniforming. Is anyone else having issues with norma brass or have any suggestions for something better?
I’m using SPYPOINT cams, if buy the cam it comes with 100 free photos a month and you can buy various upgrades. I would suggest the lithium rechargeable battery is an invaluable purchase with it. They work on cellular service so no need for wifi.
Did you uniform all your primer pockets before trying to seat your primers?
I normally use lapua brass but I had to get Norma brass for a .270 and it was surprising how much extra uniforming work it took on the primer pockets to get the primers seated properly.
