Great write up Roy. I’ve had mine for a couple of years and love it. Not the mount unfortunately though! I had a bracket and some high end rails from the USA to accommodate.
A question for you, as Clive is useless at responding to customers (I have asked 3 times now). How do I update the...

Hi all
If anyone requires FOX / RABBIT management that I can carry out in the Essex area it would be massively appreciated. Drop me a line if you need a hand or a chat or a shooting buddy!
Thanks in advance lads
Brad
I always struggled with a .22 judging distance especially in an open field at night with coloured light at small rabbits. 5 yards out and you have missed. If you have reference features such as fence posts or target shooting, you know the distances or have a good idea anyway, great! I personally...
Personally, if you can define what times they visit the pen (use a wildlife trail camera box with bait tied to a fence), great. If they happen to visit in day light (unlikely) ideal. See the routine and pitch up accordingly. As Mickeydredd said a green light may help if at night. I use a ND3...
Hi
I have an ND3 50 Subzero and can confirm that it works well / Ok for foxing, some spook some are not too fussed. The range is superb but hard to define "matt" objects in the green light. What I mean by this is that if a fox is sitting in a tree line and not looking at you its hard to pick out...
Thanks for the info. its much appreciated. I looked into Meopta and very nearly bought but thought Id dig harder into my pocket and go for a Zeiss Dutalyt 3-12x50. There was 150 quid in it between the two so opted for the scope I can transfer if needed etc. Thanks again!
Thanks lads. Meopta sounds interesting but reviews are scarce and not heard to much about them. Read company history and watched some sales guy on you tube but nervous obv in a brand I know little about. They have been going 80 years apparently.
Any ideas as to the quality compared to other...
Hi all
I have a decent .17HMR rifle Anschutz and am looking to upgrade the scope (Currently an old Busnell 3-9x40) that was on a .22.
I am looking for a mid range scope priced say between £200 - £400. The spec has to be 50mm objective and in the range 4-12 magnification. I have been looking at...
Hi All
Just a quick note to say hi!
I mainly shoot rabbits, foxes, pigeons and a deer once in a while but want to get a few more stalks under my belt.
I am a FAC holder shooting .243 Browning X bolt, .22 CZ and .17HMR Anschutz 1517 Thumbhole. Got DSC 1 & may look to do DSC 2 in the future...
