Similar to the experiences above I think mine worked out at about a 6 week wait last year. Neither my AW or I had any acknowledgement of receipt at all.
I emailed the Assessor a couple of times asking for confirmation that they had received everything satisfactorily but had no response. About...
Couldn't agree more. I've always run hot but with cold feet, by chance ended up wearing thermal long John's and my feet were much warmer. Now a the thermals are a key part of my winter stalking/outdoor kit, and it has ro get much colder before I'm afflicted with cold feet.
If you're happy with metal tubes, the viperflex elite + are meant to be good for shooters up to 2.1m tall. I'm 6'4" and don't use them on the longest setting. viper-flex.com
Just gone through this thought process and ended up with an erde 143 behind a Jimny that still has to function as a family car. Seems an OK compromise at the moment and keeps tick covered carcasses out of the car. As already mentioned though, reversing is a pain compared to a bigger trailer...
Sorry for the slow response, its been a bit frantic. Thank you for the thoughts, seems like it may be a bit of a gamble which chimes with my uncertainty unless i can sort out a reliable supply of Fox. One to ask a couple of local RFDs about, or wait for a 1:8 twist.
Has anyone got experience of shooting.223 powerhead blades through a tikka 1:12 twist barrell? If so did they stabilise?
Hopefully a variation is on its way, and looking into using copper for the odd muntjac, primary rifle use would be foxes and most second hand options seem to be 1:12 twist...
I can't compare but have a pair of Redbacks that are doing well for me. I did consider the Blundstones but the price difference between them and the Redbacks didn't seem justified.
I had a fairly basis beretta stock extended and adjusted. The stock came back looking significantly better than it went in, to me the grain pattern is better highlighted and the finish is much nicer to look at and hold.
Probably not the cheapest, but I'd recommend them.
Thank you that's really helped, I couldn't remember them being that big before and I don't make a habit of cutting into them, so was a little taken aback.
I may be overthinking this but I am now uncertain as to if this is anything to worry about. In short are these lymph nodes an issue?
A sika calf shot last week, acting normally before the shot, in good condition and all the inspected nodes were normal. All seemed well as I stated to butcher...
Country Covers (now rebranded to Fortis) waistpack, I think it's aimed at fly fishing but not 100% sure. Centre pouch is fleece lined and two side pouches are similar size to a fly reel.
Bought but not used as the pouch was too small for my knife.

Good condition only used a couple of times, just not my preference. Canvas strap between legs removed but doesn't effect use.
£35 collection from TA11 6ER or £40 posted.
