hawk crawler deer cart

Hi, can I ask if anyone has or had any experience with a hawk crawler deer cart ?
My mate uses a drag sled that can be noisy when you’re dragging it behind you so I’m thinking about going this cart route as might also come in handy for moving other things.

You have a great memory!
Mine has a pair of wheels and helps loading the deer but I don't think it's available
This is the closest I could find https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/cabelas-game-cart
Although I now have a capstan winch I still use the cart, in fact it's in my truck today
I like them
Can’t remember what I had for breakfast or what I went upstairs for but something useless like this sticks, go figure!!!

I don't have experience of these, but Bushwear have in stock if that's any help.

Bushwear sent me a link to them that’s what got my interested. I was just wondering if had any hands on experience with one as a lot of money for what looks like a child’s pram 😂

I have the Hawk and modified it to be easier to breakdown into smaller bits to carry it in the car. I use it on 2 permissions where I cannot use the truck or quad - works very well for me. There was a thread on here that spurred me to get one from Bushwear in a sale - much cheaper than today’s price. Pictures with 3 roe in it and 2 fallow👍

As well as the mods to the wheel arms to make them removable, I changed out all of the nuts and bolts on the rims and elsewhere to stainless steel.

Very very good piece of kit. I run mine as it comes. A big buck is my limit, don’t think I could manage a stag unless on a level field.
Very steep ground is a pain as there are no brakes so when you hoik it up it try’s to go back down as you shift your feet. IMG_0131.webp

I think this was 90kg give or take. Reasonably good track, a bit of a hill and some mud. Perfectly manageable if you’re reasonably fit. Add a muddy hill of some steepness or rough ground and 60kg is about my limit IMG_0568.webp
