Jeez, must be a sh^t load of deer on it, either that or far too many members! With some stalking lease holders paying 40k per year for 1k acres you have to sell a lot of days stalking before making any money.
It's not rare for some to pay £40 per acre for stalking rightsJeez, must be a sh^t load of deer on it, either that or far too many members!
Need their heads examined. It's not rare for some to pay £40 per acre for stalking rights
Not really if they find it easy to fill syndicate placesNeed their heads examined.
I could add something Eddy, but will resist.I should have said any up to date or recent proof of false advertising.
I get you but its then a court who has the last word on who is to blame . Shooting insurance through an org? Yeah i would certainly not trust it to cover me , indeed of late insurance companies will do all they can to throw out a claim or make it so long to pay out that the moneys paid to continue the insurance often pays the Bill . Twin Towers is a perfect exampleIf the client makes a mistake under the direct instructions of the guide, then yes, but NOT if the client doesn't do as instructed by the guide.
I have the correct commercial insurance, I worry for the guides that rely on some shooting orgs that state 'as long as you don't exceed £5k per year, blah, blah, blah.
Thing is the original subject on A1 Syndicate or shooting.sh got answered in the first 10 posts at least twice and there is only so many ways you can tell someone to avoid.Insurance has got nothing at all to with this subject. Go post a subject on Insurance in the Legal section of the site..
Have respect for the rules or equal treatment for all concerned.
I commented a few years ago on land A1 decoy were advertising, knowing full well they didn't have the shooting rights. I imagine there are plenty who are happy enough with what they pay and what they receive, if you happen to live locally to any of the ground then maybe it makes sense to join.Being in London, I'm looking to join a syndicate with various options for stalking across the South West and further afield. Can any recommend A1decoy or shooting.sh (Bob Glynn)?
Both seem reasonably priced and fairly straight forward with outings refunded etc.
I've done my DSC1 and several paid stalks and now looking to do a bit more...
And thoughts and feedback on the above would be much appreciated!
Sometimes the client takes the carcass as many come to stalk for the pot. I charge gamedealer rate at the time.Just read the first 10 posts.. No mention of insurance
But when I mention scumbag Deer guides over charging clients for days out and inflating costs to keep a carcass.
My posts get removed.
The only equal treatment Deer guides use is hit the wealthy handsomely. But also hit the stalkers who are on a lower incomes exactly the same.
That's for days out or to keep a carcass.
Malcom had bragged in the past that he doesn't use game dealer?
WTF does he do with the Deer that gets shot? Charge the clients £2.20 a kilo? Or £1.50 a kilo?
The fact is that all the larger Deer species at present are worth £1 per kilo.
As from next weekend they will be worth next to nothing.
As from next Friday March 28th if you need a Red Deer carcass I can supply free of charge.
