Hik Alpex Pro

The Nocpix D70 is the lightest of all the scopes on a rifle...because no one has one fitted

Its fine to wait if you are looking to replace a scope and there is no time limit...if you need a NV/digital scope now then load of people will get an Alpex or similar and Nocpix will have lost a load of sales.
As DNT have shown us with their 4K, being late to market is as good as not showing up at all. By the time you've invested all that R&D and manufacturing money, when you eventually get to market the competition are already established and they can simply one up you at a moments notice

All the new kit does not make the old stuff any less good but I agree with your point. It doesnt foster confidence but the proof of the pudding will be having one to put on your rifle 👍

Because the internal LRF ruins the light gathering ability and requires a massive 60mm Objective to counteract it
This keeps it neat and tidy, lowers the scope on the rifle.

The Pro looks like an upgrade to the original 4K
Lighter, slimmer profile
Rear mount Zoom and Side Focus
Faster start up
Any initial thoughts vs the NocPix D70R Nite?

Any initial thoughts vs the NocPix D70R Nite?
Looking at the specs (along with the price drop of the Nite) my guess is that the Nite will likely be a solid performer and beat the Alpex in daylight due to it's higher resolution, but Nocpix have realised it'll be beaten in both night/lowlight performance by both the Alpex 4k and Pro - the main selling point of the scope.

Apparently the sensor on the Alpex Pro is also A 12 mega pixel the same as the nocpix D70

I’ve heard it’s going to be 8K sensor?

I agree, an old cynic reading between the lines tells me a price drop on the Nocpix is performance related.

I think I will wait for Nocpix D70 Pro to come out 😂

With F 0.9 lenses devices can be made smaller/lighter comp with F 1.0 lenses now that more (20 %?) light (IR) will enter the sensor but takes much more focus adjustments vs F 1.0. With my NocPix Quest (F 0.9) I find myself constantly correcting focus. A side wheel as with D70 Pro is good and almost necessary.

The professional-grade digital day/night scope just got even more capable!

"Frame Rate: 50 Hz (12 MP), 120 Hz (1080P) via firmware update before August 2026".

Interesting. Seems to be taking a note out of DNT 4K's book with a faster refresh rate on a lower res for better low light performance.
