Decent phone protection while stalking

Any recommendations for a decent robust protective phone case while out and about, it's been so wet stalking that I've ended up putting the phone in a zip top freezer bag to keep the wet away but it's not ideal, I'd also like something that protects from knocks and drops.
Samsung galaxy 16.
Currently has a clear screen protector and a cheapo case.
Any recommendations on what I could do better. Thanks

i use quad lock poncho ,more so for all the things you can attach it to ,but great case all the same .

I latched on to the Lifeproof Fre cases some years ago & have yet to be let down by them - they’re waterproof, dust proof & drop proof (height depending). The only issue I’ve ever had with them is their enclosed design can cause problems when you’re using the phone on speaker & the microphone doesn’t pick your voice up properly. It’s fine in normal mode though.

I’ve wrecked one case from dropping the phone too many times but phone was fine & just replaced the case in the end.

Have had current phone/case over 3 years now, case has some battle scars but phone is still ‘as new’ inside.

Think Lifeproof & Otterbox have now combined.

Oh, & they’re not cheap…

Used Otterbox for years until prices got ludicrous. Using a ‘Punkcase’ now - fully waterproof, dropproof etc & a fraction of the price. Used it for a year now (including on my motorbike in torrential rain via a quad lock sticky mount on the back)) and no issues so far👍

But how to take pictures of dead deer and the rifle to upload to social media with a note it was at 580yds, for personal show off and gratification?? 😂
that certainly doesn't happen too much at all on the SD but I will ask have you done so? So as to help keep the forum at its rollicking best?

One of my pet irritations is guides constantly on their phones whilst stalking, setting up other outings or whatever. I carry my phone with an Otterbox but it’s in a waterproof zipped pocket with car keys and wallet, well out of the way, until after a successful shot when it might make a brief appearance for a pic and be put away again. It’s not a generational thing - some just have to see and be seen on social media, all the time. 1st world addiction…

People are on there phone all the time, very rare for me to go into Chelmsford but spend my time avoiding people not looking where they are going.
And what do these people look like wearing these long black puffa coats! They all look the same lol
Don't go with guides but I would stop and wait until he looked around wondering where I was lol
