Hello,

What’s the best way to get access to some wildfowling in Lothian/Fife/Perthshire?

Not looking to do a huge amount, a few trips a year. I’ve read that there used to be access at Aberlady/John Muir Park towards North Berwick but that isn’t available anymore?

Any insight welcome!

For a daily fee with a goose guide Mark Robson is excellent. Google " pigeon all day long" . But don't hang about as he gets booked up very quickly. Myself and 5 mates have been going every year for 10 years now with Mark.

Here are the details. Permits are for the season and you need to apply before August. For Aberlady Bay you need to live with about 5 Miles, no restrictions on John Muir

Tay Valley Wildfowlers look after a good chunk of the estuary but you used to be able to access quite a bit of the North bank from the main road (albeit I was last up there 20 odd years ago)

if you are a member of BASC you can get permits down at Lindisfarne, Eden Estuary and Montrose Basin.
