Success rate

I would say on average I'm out anywhere once a week In winter, three times a week in summer covering a mix of forestry, farm fields and open moor this Is my little diary with some rudimentary information. 👍 rough guess-estimate at 150 outings a year so one every 11 outings roughly what tbf.... Is about right.

Also just In terms of numbers I've got a wee diagram of a roe buck with a few various shot locations #1 Is right behind the shoulder, #2s are shoulder pins, and 7's are headshots. 👍 should probs fix it so Its 1/2/3

Just wondering what sort of success rates different people have in different environments. I know it will vary alot but just looking for some ballpark figures, Eg 60% Forestry plantation, 80% open fields
On farmland with clients 3-1 is the average any better than That your doing well.

I try not to worry about numbers these days - I used to track everything but didn't mean anything at the end of the day. I'll still go out when I can regardless of what a spreadsheet tells me. Gut feel, 1 in 3 success rate but that's very variable. I can go a dozen outings and not get a shot and then have 10 deer in a week.
