Hi All just a wee heads up to anyone going to Zimbabwe to hunt elephants.fantastic place wonderful people and great hunting. However I’m having huge problems with my bank sanctions department trying to get my taxidermy company paid for work done even before applying for Cites permit .im probably going to donate them to my PH in Zimbabwe as they are worthless here anyway fortunately I’ve got 2other sets of tusks

Hi yes the company offered me a USA account but I fear the damage is done still working on it but as. The tusks are worthless in Uk probably best to give them to my PH

I have always had a hankering to have an elephant tusk as an ornament - sadly no longer possible to get one
Aye I know. 1 I shot in SA 15yrs ago 5 kgs heavier than these ones I was told were worth £75000 in china

Sanctions are still imposed on Zimbabwe by the British Government given the human rights record of the Government. Mugabe may be dead but his presence is still felt and plenty still work for the government as slave labour in diamond mines.
