Pulsar telos xp50 or hikmicro falcon fq50 2.0

Hi I’m currently looking at thermal spotters , the pulsar telos xp50 or the hikmicro falcon fq50 2.0 just wondering what people would go for if they had the choice of either one and why thanks

Telos XP50 is old but very reliable - I've had one since they first came out. When night shooting I'm looking through a Hik SQ50CL attached to my Z6i on my rifle using the Telos as the spotter - I find the Telos better than the Hik thermal picture in most respects

I've just put the two side by side, not much in it though my eyes

I would say the Pulsar personally

Run a xp50 lrf and love it also after care with pulsar after warranty ends is handy

I think people get used to their thermals and how they're set up so when they look through someone else's thermal they don't seem as good. I have fine tuned the brightness and contrast on my Telos XP50 to exactly as l like it. I was out with someone one evening who had a Hik Falcon FQ50 and it picked up the deer as well as my Telos. The following morning it was foggy and humid. My Telos cut through the fog really well while the Falcon seemed to struggle. My friend played around with the settings and it did improve but still wasn't as good as the Telos. I'm not saying one thermal is better than the other but the Telos seemed better to me in the poor thermal conditions. I've been using the Telos very regularly for a couple of years so know it really well. I'm sure if l had a Falcon for as long l would have that set up to suit me too but l won't be swapping my Telos anytime soon.
