Stalking Show

I'd wanted to pick up some biltong, but the stand selling it (in the outdoor food area) seemed to have sold out really quickly?

But we picked up a few bags of chilli venison jerky from a well hidden indoor stand, that I've been eating most of the evening, very moorish..

Then send me the recipe. I've never made one as good as that.
Bit spendy though, I agree. 👍
Recipe for skewer: dice a skewer me fresh m the thigh, salt/petter/lemon juice and some peel/ minced garlic. On Kamado, fast and furious…with some charred onions and red peppers.

That was rhetorical. Have you tried one? I think they use oregano and paprika...a few other ingredients which I probably forgot. I tried to create my own after last year, and it was nowhere near.
I thought it was Cai Ap Bryn's business, but maybe not.

If we both go next year, I'll treat you to one. That's a promise. 👍

Spoke to the Hik rep at the show. They are at the dealers on Tuesday. He reckons if you haven't reserved one , no chance of getting one.......sales spiel.possibly.

However, looking through it can see why the demand will be high. The image is truly excellent, and the first digital scope (on my 6th) that you see no pixellation until about x20 mag. Can't comment on NV capabilities obviously, but Hik units tend to have images that are good.......and this one is supposed to be even better than its siblings at first/last light.

Weight is reasonable too, around 750g.

Not one for hyperbole, but probably the best digi scope image I've ever looked through......it is that good.

Looks like I'll be going on the wait list for one.......
Our local dealer is getting 10 in in the first batch, he has an order for 22..
