I use the 150 gamekings and 145gn fox copper and the speed difference is about 20tps but you’ve obviously also got variables in there between the copper and the lead, so obviously you could try the same load and see what happens!

But to be brutally honest for the time it takes just woke up a new load you’re not gonna be far out

Are they similar shapes - or is flat based and the other a boat tail.

Unless your current load is on ragged end of pressure, you will probably be absolutely fine loading up 3 and see if they well. You might be lucky, you might not be. Did this with 7x57 and hornady 140gn soft points and then 140 GMX copper bullets. Same powder worked well enough although the copper bullets were about 1” higher.

Pro hunter is flat base gk are boat tail just wondred if any one had used both its not desperate as i have a hundred loaded but i may load 5 or so and try them is there any diference in bullet effect as i had trouble with some hornady and lost a beast that was knocked down but then got up also had a couple knocked of there feet and then stood back up to walk a few yards changed back to sierra problem solved

I’ve got 500 150gn in stock and 200 160gn in the Broome cupboard that’s how much confidence I have in them

If changing bullet you should work your load up again, at least drop a grain or so back to check for pressure but your call.

As for accuracy and POI only way to know is to load a couple and try. What I will say though, from my experience of game kings vs pro hunters on 6.5 is the pro hunters shed their cores more easily. I’ve only recovered 6 bullets over the years and 3 of those were pro hunter jackets that had shed their core completely in the animal, so performance is not the same.
