Any stories of longevity or extreme pushing to the limits of items in life

The Puma Hunter's Pal on the right I bought in 1976 when I was 16. I have used this knife on all the deer I have shot. Also while I was a shepherd I used it for killing and processing all the sheep for our house and my two bosses houses plus my dog tucker. It would amount to between 2000 and 3000 sheep. The knife on the left is an old but never used Hunter's Pal that I was given for my 65th birthday.

Mid 1970’s roe sack;
Puma featherweight (they stopped making them on the 1990’s I think. Simply great steel, bought a lightweight Puma SGS a few years ago, it’s nothing like as keen an edge holder.

Plenty of life left in both.

The winter model, also pre millennial

I'm amazed no one has come up with non-mar roe sacks and back backs. Do the designers not realise a shoulder-slung rifle stock will make regular contact with the adjustment buckles whichever side you hang such from?
