Damaged Larson Trap (Cambridge?)

Just an FYI if someone has had some damage done on their land.

Some helpful soul posted on Reddit that they found a Larson trap out whilst walking, left the public footpath into a private field and damaged the trap to release the birds.

They claim the damage is minimal and repairable, but even after pointing out that their tresspass turned into criminal damage, they still maintain they're in the righ on moral grounds.

From there post history, it would seem they live in Cambridge.

It is maybe worth reporting in any case AND to the forum that hosts the person that posted it as they may have rules that suspend or even ban a person posting criminal activity?

They could ban them from the sub reddit, but probably not from Reddit in general.

when any larsen trap is set so are trail cameras high enough to be out of site and out of reach but the clearly watch over the larsen traps

Just had the same happen here, Thames Valley Police have taken a different stance. Dedicated Wildlife officer, even visited me 😳
They were good when I was down there, had a load of fenns stolen, reported and got the crime number. Then new tenant knocked on my door to say I've found these in my shed, holding up my fenns. The former tenant who I did suspect as being the one who took them was then approached by TVP, not sure of the outcome
