For Sale: 384x288 Thermal Scopes for £399

To solve
We have had many questions regarding rechargeable batteries.
We have just tested these — please see the link below. They provide continuous operation for 3 hours and 15 minutes, after which they need to be recharged.
I've just bought a set of 8 Jessop rechargable batteries and two cheap power banks off Amazon for my two units.

The power banks are nice and small so one will be stock mounted, the other I'll keep in my binoculars harness or the pulsar carry case you included.

Can't wait to get one on my .22lr this weekend.

Can I order 1 please

I'd like one of these please if they have a tripod mount underneath to fit to a pan/tilt magnetic car roof mount.
Hi Dave,
Yes, there are two inserts in the housing for standard tripod-size threads.
You can either stream video over Wi-Fi to your phone or tablet, or use the analogue video output with the supplied cable and a low-cost analogue input monitor. Rear-view camera sets usually include these monitors.
Analogue video is preferred if latency is critical for your application, as Wi-Fi will probably add around 0.3 seconds of latency to the video stream.

Bless ya lil cotton socks. Its been ordered just now.

Be sure to thank the helpfull member Flash G74 from Oxford for alerting me to this on the Pigeon Watch forum.

Good point but I have a thing about cables dangling from the sunroof. I currently have a very old spec poor res home built one that uses FPV drone radio signal to a 7" monitor but its too bulky for the pocket. I'd only use it for spotting so latency/lag won't be much of a problem. I'll suck it and see lol.

I guess I have to wait for it to arrive for the serial number to register for the 3 years warranty.

Bit of confusion in the manual here:

8.3 Export Files This function is used to export recorded videos and captured pictures. Before You Start ● Turn off hotspot function. ● Turn on the device after connecting it to your PC, and keep the device on for 10 to 15 seconds before other operations. ● Remove batteries from the device before connecting to your PC, or it may cause device damage. Steps 1. Connect the device and PC with cable. Note Make sure the device is turned on when connecting the cable.

I'm slightly autistic, am I seeing this wrong?

Arrived by speedy gonzalas mail today thanks. :)

I fully accept my roofmount requirement is somewhat unique: the analogue video output isn't long enough to reach down to my dash from the roof so while I think up an extension possibility to thread it down the A pillar and behind the dash I tried to find the wifi for a tablet - but I can't find wifi in the menu, any help there please? I'm not worried about lag as its only needed to spot quarry, not shoot it.

Also a small edit might be useful, two batteries weren't included.

EDIT, My clever brother just arrived - I'd wondered what hotspot is DOH!
Another edit, he's very switched on wi techy stuff but can't get past the password entering to activate.... GRR

Switch on the hotspot comes up with the password which you will need to connect WL. PW on mine is J28048287

I'm mightily impressed with mine for the money. I mounted it on my CZ .22 varmint & zeroed it pretty quickly. The image is good in daytime & excellent at night when the temp drops. On 2 x mag ( 5x) it would be fine on a foxing rig especially on Black hot ( seems to suit it better, whereas i prefer White hot on my Thermion). All in all, an excellent buy.

Says connected to device hotspot and idenfies it but will not activate. Keeps going back to show the top password enter is green but bottom (repeat wont go green .

no ther option than go back to activate device. when clicked asks for password again time and time again.

Now trying a restore of the device in desperation because my techie brother can't connect to it.

EDIT:

The reset was good and required a new hotspot password. Its all done now. In fact it was done a lot earlier and I edited to that effect but must have not clicked save.
