For Sale: 384x288 Thermal Scopes for £399

My two arrived today, I've just collected them on my way to work.

I've only been able to have a look at it in and around the car park but could clearly see/ID/shoot pigeons at over 50yrds on the roof of the mill. The only other thermal I've owned is the base level 30mm gen 1 Pulsar Axion and I would say it's a similar quality in the environment I was in. I'm guessing at longer range and when zoomed in is when you may/may not notice a difference.

They look an absolute bargain for the money and perfect for my .22lr and as a spotter. I can't wait till I finish nights and can get it zeroed Monday.

A small number of Nordforce Thermal Riflescopes have a little problem where the device does not save the zeroing profile and asks to select the language and battery voltage every time it is powered on.

This issue can usually be resolved through the scope menu by following the steps below.

Troubleshooting Procedure

  1. Remove the battery from the scope.
  2. Connect the supplied USB cable and power the scope from USB only.
  3. Select the language and battery voltage settings to reach the main screen.
  4. Wait for approximately 10 seconds before continuing. This step is important.
  5. Press and hold the Menu button to enter the main menu, and change your brightness a little. Changing brightness initiates scope firmware writing to memory.
  6. Press the Down button 12 times and open the Restore menu.
  7. When the scope asks “Initialize?”, select OK.
  8. The scope may display “Initialization failed”with a red icon.
    • If this happens, do not switch the scope off.
    • Wait for the scope to reboot automatically.
  9. If initialization fails, repeat steps 3–8 two or three times until the scope displays “Initialization succeeded” with a green icon.
  10. Allow the scope to reboot automatically once more.
  11. Select your language and battery voltage settings again.
The issue should now be resolved, and the scope should correctly save its settings and zeroing profiles.
