Woody in trouble.

3 days ago a woody came to land in a tree in our garden, it had a twig in its beak about 200mm long.Figured it was making a nest somewhere. It saw me and veered off only to come back a few mins later to land on the lawn, twig still in its mouth.
Today I looked out the window and there it was, walking about on the grass, twig still in its mouth!
Reckon it must be stuck in its beak somehow.
Ken.
Ps. It’s just been back. Not the best picture.

Granddaughter saw it in the garden on Saturday with twig in situ.
Not been seen since.
There hasn’t been an opportunity to help it but suspect we won’t see it again.
