I clocked up 40 hours over 2 weeks to get 1 chicken killer.Sure you will get it mate

I did manage a couple of hours in the mentioned quarry after finding a safe route in, no sign of an earth within.
The vixen was coming across open ground from way beyond, so could be anywhere within a couple of square miles.
No mate ... I spent 38 hours in the pub down the road then went out for 2 hours and shot the fox.Did you not go to the site
I will try and be polite in the next bit...perhaps the foxes up here are smarter then yours

Its always a conflict with shooting for fun (less so in your case) as the better the job you do the less you shoot at a later day. I hammer the corvids on some of my permissions as that is what the farmer wants...then have to find another permission to try and get some decent shooting the next year

I love looking at fields that historically were covered in corvids and now none are there !
I do however love seeing a field of black and thinking I'm on for a good days sport. Cant beat it when the barrels are to hot to touch and they are still belting in ... I'd take a decent day on the corvids over pretty well anything else shooting wise

Went out early last night for a mooch about, 1st part of the hill saw 8 does and a buck further up , as the hill is kinda steep I couldnt be arsed stalking up it, so moved round to next farm, went to stalk into a wee plantation and a fox comes trotting down from the hill quick set up on the sticks and bib shot at 150mt , on inspecting him he was heavily infested with ticks.
