Out last night.

So the fox I waited up for but it never appeared made an appearance at 8pm yesterday evening. So earlier start to wait tomorrow. The small holders had to go out and shoo it away. It was sat in the very spot I choose to wait for it 2 nights earlier.

Typical
I waited for one Monday night over 3hrs
Packed everything away. One last look while getting in motor. There it is😡
Hopefully won't be so lucky next time

I would venture a guess that we have all been in the same boat :) I clocked up 40 hours over 2 weeks to get 1 chicken killer.

Sure you will get it mate 👍

Not fecking dead yet!!
Just sick of the poison within!

Anyway, in the meantime. #33

😆😁
The last Vixen I shot intentionally, @ #8,767 was responsible for big losses of layers in a small holding, & Vixen's earth is in a disused silica sand quarry, the quarry is secured and monitored, so no options on sitting out on the earth.
I did manage a couple of hours in the mentioned quarry after finding a safe route in, no sign of an earth within.
The vixen was coming across open ground from way beyond, so could be anywhere within a couple of square miles.

Did you not go to the site🤔
No mate ... I spent 38 hours in the pub down the road then went out for 2 hours and shot the fox.

I will try and be polite in the next bit...perhaps the foxes up here are smarter then yours

However I will accept that even a stupid fox is smarter then I am 💋
