Hornady CX Superformance 6.5 Creedmoor

I tried it in my 6.5 Creed and it was really bad, around 2” at 100m.

I’ve also tried the CX hand loaded in 120gr and 130gr and both have been erratic (some good groups and some around 2”).

Not sure why, as in other cartridges I’ve found the CX good, but just can’t get on with it in 6.5.

Friend of mine has had exactly the same issue (his is a Tikka, mine is a Remmy with a Sassen barrel, so it’s not just my rifle)

Two of my local RFD's are now stocking Superformance CX instead of Outfitter CX. Anybody using them?
Have done not a mad amount different to the normal outfitter CX apart from about 100 FPS faster on average. The importer decided to buy super performance on their last batch buy so everyone who uses Hornady CX just needs to adapt and see what they buy last time.

Cases are normal colour as well instead of silver so if you like the pretty silver ammo with the red tips you will be disappointed.

Tends to be a touch hard in general for our smaller softer non American deer in my opinion.

Thanks Andy, I've been using Outfitter CX and they've been sub MOA. Hopefully the Superformance will perform similarly in my rifles.

Ah, that explains it - thanks.
