Has anyone done a propper review on suppressor performance with professional sound level measuring kit recently?
Thing is,I have probably seen thousands of suppressed rifle fired and I can never really tell much difference between brands. Things never get impressively quiet untill people use subsonic rounds in Rifles chambered in calibers designed for that purpose.
Svemko's are probably really good,are they worth the money? Guess that's up to the buyer to decide.

I’ve got a magnum1 running on a 7 mm magnum and using it on my 260 Remington as well very impressed. Be aware that Svemco say loctite the adapters to the barrel thread. If this is done then you can’t clean the crown. Something I do every time. Both rifles have same thread so don’t actually need the qd model but I have others with different threads so always the possibility to use it on them if required.

My XE149 was £380 the X108 was even less, and I purchased it less than a year ago.
I love the idea of 1 mod and QD adaptors but, if I bought one for £1100 I’d probably only get £100-£150 each for the mods on my rifles, so I’d still be £800 down, unless I was starting from scratch and had the foresight that I was going to end up buying multiple rifles. I’m not convinced the same mod would fit over my heavy varmints barrel on my 243 either.

Check the latest RRPs there. You may have struck lucky with an rfd who had sat on one on the shelf?
Why wouldn't you think it would fit, unless it's a really whacky oversized action with a unprofiled barrel? Most mods are designed as 1 size fits all, they just put those ridiculous plastic screw on bits at the back that make people think they're a tighter fit than reality.

Again, they clearly must be sat on old stock and paid the old prices.
GMK are the importers, that is the stated RRP.
And will be the price Livens no doubt will charge once they sell out of their old stock and have to order new. At £320, I'd imagine that would be under the actual current trade price of them, as a £450 RRP equates to roughly 40% difference. From what I've been told, nothing in the firearms retail industry operates on a 40% margin for the retailer.
If it were new stock Livens were selling, then it would be either at no profit, or even for a loss.
Actually going through their options, I note some of the 30 cal options are back order only...
I wonder what would happen if you placed an order... Are they obliged to still supply at the price paid? Or would they cancel the order once they found out they would be making a loss on that sale?
I'm local and they had H4350 on the Web site 18 months ago.
I have the ATec mini ALock version loctited on my 308w. No problem with cleaning the crown.

They actually listed my ACE Game in 7mm PRC incorrectly (cheaper) and after a bit of back and forth I got it at the listed price, which means they made a loss/less profit.
Doesnt UK law mean they have to sell at the price advertised?

Not for me at that price I'm afraid. Personally I think the market has moved too far to super light mods. The benefit of a short barrel and heavy moderator combo is it lasts forever. I'm still using a jetZ from the 1990s. The key is drying it out after use. I also don't really like QD and swapping anything between rifles - more to go wrong, lose or upset zero - but this all just me being a grumpy bugger, if someone gave me one I wouldn't say no.
