Catapult crime: 'I thought we were being shot with a gun'
Barbara Servante from the Isle of Sheppey says her window was shot at with a catapult.
I think there should be an exemption if the projectile is copper if its lead however it should be life without possiblity of parole .......The only real change in the law required, is that the scrotes carrying out this sort of offence should be treated exactly as if they had been using a firearm and suffer the same level of penalty.
And I apply this to any form of “proctile whether its a rifle bullet, a brick, a bottle full of petrol, or a bolt or arrow, if you direct implements at members of the public or their property resulting in inconvenience or harm you deserve the full weight of the law.
A lucky escape. I was out in my garden last night and thought to myself "Wow! If I'd have been standing here just in these shirtsleeves and these thin trousers during the last Ice Age I'd have been literally frozen to death." So I went inside and thought how things could have turned out very differently and if I hadn't fortunately been there twenty thousand years later. I'll be certainly texting Barbara as soon as I've got credit on my 'phone. Something must be done!Interesting article. It looks like Starmer's sights are now on catapults. Well, if peashooters are illegal, it only follows that something as deadly as a catapult should be too.
Like Barbera said, "If my husband had taken the bin out 10 minutes later, he could have been killed"![]()
A bit like those interviews you see after any foreign disaster (earthquake, tsunami, mass shooting, terrorist attack, etc):A lucky escape. If I'd have been standing here just in these shirtsleeves and these thin trousers during the last Ice Age I'd have been literally frozen to death." So I went inside and thought how things could have turned out very differently and if I hadn't fortunately been there soke twenty thousand years later. I'll be certainly texting Barbara as soon as I've got credit on my 'phone. Something must be done!
It's not the knife banning we should be worried about but the possible future banning of butter.Ban ban ...whittle away....finally be lucky to able to have a butter knife in the house
Someone on a different thread has just stated that a catapult with 8mm lead ball will not kill a tree rat.I think there should be an exemption if the projectile is copper if its lead however it should be life without possiblity of parole .......
