It‘s not just this. Our opponents don‘t really care which sort of ammo we use. This is just an intermediate step on their way to ultimately take our guns away from us.

This is why we all need to be evangelical about shooting and invite people to join in, especially those who we initially think might not be interested. There are actually loads of people who would love to try it and get involved if given the chance and also many non-british demographics come from cultures which are quite happy to shoot/stalk/hunt but think it isn't allowed in the UK but would if they could. The more people doing it, the more political clout we have and the more people we invite to share our heritage, the more there are to pass it on and keep our culture alive.

We often hear about this small amounts stuff but given the exposure that many of us have had its very surprising that we seem to be unafflicted, especially the military guys with their heavy exposure , perhaps its something that the MOD have successfully covered up?

JSP 403 is the MODs regulations for range design and use. Chapter 30 outlines full details of hazardous substances in use on ranges.

I have also had sight of documents from the Army in WW1 highlighting concerns of lead poisoning in soldiers and ammunition workers. The concerns were valid especially amongst ammunition workers, but need for ammo was more important.
