Reminded of the recent chat on apprentice piece bench exercises with a file this morning, finding that I have run out of elevation @ 72 Y in the T Ceptor and still impacting 5 inches high 
, I made an educated guess that something must be amiss with the Contessa / Sako dovetail adapter kit 
, so to the man cave armed with a Snap - On steel straight edge. Deep gloom, Contessa picatinny rail shows a slight banana curve making the scope have in effect a few degrees increased moa raised up at the rear end 
Bench exercises revisited, filed / dressed down the dovetail adapters at their rear edges, dressed down the Contessa recoil stop & re checked with straight edge 
, now rail and scope look to be in parallel with rifle bore, tomorrow will be proof of the work.
