After a 120gr non toxic bullet for a 6.5x55 to load.
Drawn up as short list of Barnes vs Sako blade
Anyone got any real experience of the Sako blade?
I know other non toxic loads are available but they need to be 120gr so that rules out yewtree and virtus.

Apologies .... this is from a 6.5 Creedmoor owner....
I moved to Copper relatively recently (Sep 2025). Hornady CX groups were poor so went with the Sako blades. I have only shot a few - 13 fallow, 3 roe and 3 foxes - all are dead and no major difference between the reaction compared to lead. I also tried S&B blue and the groups were on par with the blades so trying these in the creed to see how they fair...before I move to homeloading.
Thanks. I’ve tried Barnes and although work well on reds I was not too happy on roe. From what people are saying Sako might just work. My alternative if they don’t is to have two loads going one for roe the other for bigger stuff.
