Cheers,

Al

T3 .308 with 22.5” barrel. 130 gr. TTSX, Lapua cases, 47.1 grains N140 = 2,904 fps mv. Very accurate and terminal effect excellent on fallow, roe, CWD and muntjac. Bullet passes through every time.

N140 works great in .308 with Barnes TTSX 130's and yes a compressed load might be needed to drive them fast the closer you can drive them to 3000fps the better, the subject has been covered plenty on here have a search...

Below were recovered from a very large Fallow buck, that only went a few metres though it was only 100+ metre shot so close range, I do have quite a few recovered TTSX's but more that have past through but still done a sterling job.
These were shot through a 20" barrel and at 2970fps

No surprise from me as 100 grain Ttsx will punch through a big red stag breaking both shoulders with my 260 rem and still exiting at ranges over 300 yds commonly / to be expected

not ttsx but I use the 119grain yewtree tlr bullets, n540 going 3100fps in a 22" barrel. they work great, really accurate and 0.6 g1 bc so fly really flat

I have found the Barnes 130gn TTSX to be very accurate in .308, I believe mine are pushing 3,000 fps, knock down is good although meat damage in my limited experience so far seems more than a standard lead 150gn round, I think that is due to the fast speed.

I've loaded a lot of other Barnes bullets, both TTSX and TSX in many weights and many calibers they have all shot very accurately and have knocked down everything I've shot, up to and including buffalo with 300 gn .375 TSX bullets.
