Hi everyone,
Originally from Cornwall, a restoration builder/smallholder. I first became an avid hunter when I started coming to the United States. (Pheasant shooting not counting) Having been here full-time for the last five years I’ve been very lucky to be involved and conservation wildlife management and a volunteer veterans sports organization, enjoying and facilitating amazing access to some of the best hunting on public lands one could ever imagine.
It’s time now to move back to the Southwest for a few years at least and I am excited to carry on my passion in the place that I grew up and love/know so well and learn the skills that make a good stalker.
After a little research, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s probably easier for me to sell my firearms here in the United States and buy in the U.K. once I’ve gained the necessary licenses? Am I wrong?
Presently, I’m in need of advice as to what I can do from overseas to get the ball rolling? Any instruction as to Courses online, certification that transfers(long shot I think), greatly appreciated.
Currently post rut Whitetail here in Missouri. 2 tags left to fill..

I think the most difficult (& expensive) part will be exporting your firearms from the US.
So long as you have your SCG & FAC sorted in the UK, the import side is simple (though you'll be hit with VAT & Duty on the declared value, so minimise it).
If you have expensive or custom built firearms, it's probably worth the expense/hassle but not for "off the shelf" stuff.
